DESCRIPTION:Course Description – READ CAREFULLY: Our basic CPR/AED course covers Adult\, Child and Infant CPR along with use of the AED. Options: Choose the CPR/AED if you only want to take that portion of class. Choose CPR/AED/First Aid if you would like to attend the first aid as well. \nWe offer courses through the American Heart Association\, The American Red Cross\, ECSI and HSI. ALL public CPR/FA courses are HSI unless noted otherwise and are NEVADA REGISTRY APPROVED. The CPR portion of the class will start at 12:30 pm and finish by 2:30 pm. If you are attending CPR and First Aid\, class will end by 4:30 pm \n  \nPLEASE READ / INTENDED AUDIENCE:  This course is perfect for Personal Training\, Foster Parents\, Childcare Workers\, Families\, Babysitters\, Lay Rescuers\, workplace responders\, construction and general industry or anyone needing a CPR\, AED and First Aid certification.  Please make sure you are taking the course that is right for you (Nurses\, Doctors\, Firefighters\, EMS Students\, Hospital Employees\, Dental Hygienists etc. please look for the AHA BLS course for Healthcare Providers that is offered several times a month on our “Class Schedule” page) – If you are an employee of Washoe County School District or coaching a team for WCSD you will need to take an AHA Heartsaver course.  Please check our schedule for those courses specifically\, as they are offered periodically) \n  \n***Space is limited. Students must pay in advance to reserve their spot in this class\, and class fees are not refundable unless it is cancelled by instructor.  Students that are sick\, not feeling well\, have a cough or any symptoms of illness will not be allowed to join any class.  Please do not come to class if you have had possible exposure to illness or are feeling ill.  A one time credit will be issued to individuals that need to reschedule due to illness if an email is sent to info@advantagecpr.org PRIOR to class start time.  Due to our inability to fill a class without cancellation notice\, NO SHOWS DO NOT GET A CREDIT.   If you need to reschedule due to illness\, you must request your credit in writing prior to class at advantagecpr@att.net. \n  \nPLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: \n1:   Classroom doors will open 5 minutes before class start time.  If you arrive earlier\, please wait in your vehicle and do not form a line at the door.  You DO NOT need a ticket.  Your instructor will have your registration information. \n2.  Bring a pen\, as you will need a pen during testing. \n3.  No outside food can be brought into our classroom. (Drinks are OK) \n\nMake sure to mark the date of your class on your calendar!  No shows or attendees who are more than 15 minutes late do not receive a refund or credit.
