The American Heart Association BLS Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide 1 and 2 rescuer CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals. This is a one-time course. All passing participants will receive a two year certification from the American Heart Association within 1 to 3 days.
Intended Audience
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, dentists and support staff, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training (TMCC, WNCC, UNR), aides, medical or nursing assistants.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Bring a pen.
2. No outside food can be brought in to our classroom. (Drinks are OK)
3. MAKE SURE TO PRINT OUT YOUR RECEIPT OR SHOW A COPY OF IT ON YOUR MOBILE DEVICE TO THE INSTRUCTOR – NO CARDS ARE ISSUED WITHOUT PAYMENT IN FULL.
