$70.00Our AHA Healthcare Provider course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who either need to obtain initial certification or renew their skills in CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support techniques. Applicable in a wide range of in-hospital and pre-hospital settings, this course caters to nurses, medical students, physicians, EMTs, and other essential personnel requiring BLS certification or renewal.
The Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA), offers a comprehensive training program for participants aiming to either achieve their initial certification or renew their credentials. The curriculum includes the latest guidelines and research, ensuring all learners are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective life support in emergency situations.
By the end of this course, participants will be proficient in:
Recognizing Cardiac Arrest
Performing high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants.
Use of the AED
Ventilations using a barrier device.
Working with a multi-rescuer resuscitation team.
Managing respiratory and cardiac arrest situations.
Curriculum:
Updates and key changes in basic life support, reflecting the latest AHA Guidelines for CPR & ECC.
Essential concepts of high-quality CPR and the American Heart Association Chain of Survival.
Techniques for 1-Rescuer and 2-Rescuer CPR and AED use across all ages.
Focus on differences between adult, child, and infant rescue techniques.
Bag-mask techniques for adults, children, and infants.
Review rescue breathing and choking relief methods for all ages.
Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, which includes a written test and a skills demonstration, participants will receive a BLS Provider course completion card. For new certifications, this card is valid for two years. Those renewing their certification will have their validity extended for an additional two years, affirming their continued competence in BLS practices.

For those not new to AHA, eCards, it’s essential to use the same email address associated with your account for registration continuity.
In instances where you’re enrolling someone else in a class, it’s important to use the participant’s email address for registration.
